I'm eating 400 calories a day to see if I can lose 20 pounds in two weeks. I don't really know if it's possible, but I read that this doctor lost 65 pounds in 6 weeks by doing it, so I'm going to try. Anybody want to join? I need support

400 calories a day- 20 lbs. in 2 weeks?
Wow 20 pounds is alot of weight to lose in two weeks, but i wish you all the luck. Im fasting at the moment so cant join, but if it works for you im deffo gunna try it.
I am powerless but im in control...
I don't think 400 cals is little enough to lose 20 pounds in two weeks. Weight loss that rapid would probably, at a guess, require a daily intake of 100cals or less and a cardio workout burning about 400 cals. Having 400 calories a day and losing 20lbs in 2 weeks just sounds too easy!Male

not possible, i guess fasting and exercising might do that."Do what thou will, as long as you harm no undeserving person"
deathletter and dakota, i think u guys are wrong. there's no really much difference from eating 400c to 100c a day in a relatively long period. there's a difference from eating 400c one day or 100c and weighing the next day: u will "lose" more because u have less food on your body, 300 calories is really nothing near the deficit of calorie she would have. same goes for fasting.
and "I dont think 400c is little enough to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks", i think it's the other way. 2 weeks isn't long enough to lose 20 pounds. I don't think you wouldn't lose that much fasting in 2 weeks, as an average loss per day in a week is 1 lbs. In the second week that should fall to what, .8t lbs? this is 15.6 lbs...
So Rae, my opinion is, find ur balance: eat as little as u can but enough not binge. this sounds cliche and obvious but its very important. I know we always think "
i won't binge, i promise myself... but normally its out of our control... maybe 400 is ideal for u, maybe u need 500c, and maybe u can do 300. if u find your number, that's as quickly as u gonna lose it. if u eat more, u will lose less... if u eat less, u wont be able to maintain the intake for long.Everything started at age of 10, I guess.

The body uses at least 1500, but more for most people, but lets just use that number to be super-safe.
3,500 calories is the equivalent of one lb of fat.
1,500x14 days=21,000 calories being spent at minimum
400x14 days=5,600 of intake
15,400/3,500= 4.4 pounds
Conclusively, If you eat 400 calories a day, don't exercise and have a shitty metabolism then you will lose 4.4 lbs of fat. I don't really think I could believe this. If I were to eat that little for 2 weeks I know I would probably lose close to 10 lbs.
