are you happy if you stick to your calorie limit?
or if you stay under?
or is it about how much you lose a week?
or how long you fast?
for me, i feel ok if i lose 4lb a week.
i dont feel good exactly, good would be if i could reach my GW in a week!
but i dont feel too bad either.
if i lose less than 4lb i feel like iv failed. (which is why im fasting this weekend to make sure iv reached my goal by monday!!)
what about all of you?
much love x

what do you count as an achievement?

I feel like a failure most of the time, actually. D:
I've been having binging problems, but, when I'm spot on I feel good if I've burned 500 calories working out, and eaten under 600 for the day. And, if I do that, the weight comes off. I'm going to wait until my seven days are done for fasting before I weigh myself again, and if I haven't lost eight pounds, it's going to be really frustrating. D:
But, generally, a steady four pounds sounds good. I would love to get it consistently at four pounds a week.

For me as long as the numbers are going down every day I class that as a success, when I lose 2lb per night - those are my really happy days. If it’s not a loss then I’ve failed and must try harder the next day. The hardest times are when I’m really trying, restricting to 150 or less and the numbers aren’t moving, at least I can consolidate myself with the knowledge that I’m losing inches if not lbs.

I feel like I've achieved if I stay under my daily cals and when I lose 3lbs a week, 2lbs is also okay but my goal is 3lbs or more.
If I haven't actually lost any lbs can tht still mean I lose inches then? I'm not sure how tht works. I measured myself yesterday then today and I had lost an inch in just 24 hours but I thought I must of measured wrong yesterday cuz I can't just lose an inch overnight, could I??? xYou must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be.

I consider it a success if I stay under my goal calories for the day and get my workout in. I know I'll lose if I do that even if sometimes my weight seems to follow random patterns due to different hydration levels or muscle gain.If my clothes are fitting looser and I'm sticking to my plan I feel okay about it...
and does anyone else get almost a high out of it when you are fasting or really restricting and you want to cave but you dont and it just feels amazing and then you see yourself getting smaller and it feels so good.

Yeah. Haven't felt that way in a while though.
I remember once being happy as long as I stayed under 1000 calories a day. I was once happy with losing 5 lbs in a week. I was really proud the first time I went a day without eating.
I dunno. Nothing is good enough anymore. I just hit a goal weight I've been trying to get to for months, but already I don't care because I'm still so fat.

I feel acceptable if I follow my plan. I feel good usually if I end the day under my daily limit or if I have burned more than 1000 extra calories that day.
I'm never really happy anymore. I weigh myself every morning and if the number hasn't gone down I feel like shit and work extra hard to get it down. Plateaus are the hardest... when no matter what I'm doing the number just doesn't seem to go down.
