    Default new start

hey there everyone, i have just come back from holiday and am determined to lose more weight.

I am 5 foot 9.5 and weigh 8.4 stone. I am setting myself small achievable goals so am aiming to gte to 8 stone but i'm not really sure how long i should set myself to do this.

Anyway, i just need some moral support really. if anyone wants to discuss calorie intake, exercise etc please pm me, i am completely on my own in this and could really appreciate some friends.

    hope you're all ok
    xx

    Hey Hunny,

I'm here with you. I also start with little goals. Well a lot of little goals working towards a big goal.

If you ever need to talk I'm here... or even if you just want someone you can review your day with.

Making small goals is definately the way to go hun, when I am losing weight I always try and make my goals 2/3s alb or so at a time because they are quicker and easier to achieve than making bigger ones that are almost impossible to achieve in the time frame we want and you end up losing heart with it all.

Hey. I usually set goals of about 6-10lbs. And I have a scheduled maximum caloric intake.

    Sunday: 200
    Monday: 400
    Tuesday: 200
    Wednesday: 500
    Thursday: 700
    Friday: 500
    Saturday: Fasting

I find it makes it easier to stay low without arousing too much suspicion from my family and friends.

    Good luck with you're goals.

i think changing the number of cals you have each day is good for trying not to arouse suspicion, i organise my higher cal days for when i know im seeing friends etc.
its also good for keeping your metabolsim going, i think a high cal day (say 800-1000) followed by a fast day helps me lose a lot more than two 4-500 cal days does.

I have tried to fast so many times and only usually make it til bout 6pm! It's really annoyin cuz I can last all day and then it just goes wrong at around tht time. What I'm doing at the miniute is up to 100cals for breakfast, up to 300 cals for dinner and up to 400 cals for my tea and a couple of cups of coffee inbetween and it seems to be workin okay but now instead of a 2-3 lb loss a week it's now slowed down to just 1 lb a week. So I think it's time I either lowered my cals or upped my exercise or both. x
