* Sometimes I am hungry. I'm always hungry. But when I don't eat I feel good. Pure. I feel empty and it's wonderful. I feel so powerful. Like I could fly. *

I love this site but can someone please tell me how it works?
I'm just confused with the whole calorie deficit but because I don't burn that many calories, me and excercise are not a good match

countingribs, I think the calorie deficit is how many calories you'll actually burn off each day (calories you burn through activities - calories you consume = total calories burned off). So if you burn 2350 calories through activities but consume 600 calories, you'll burn off 1750 calories total, which is half a pound, theoretically. Does that help?
A site I like because people can add foods they eat to the database, so there's nutritional info on a ton of different foods: http://www.thedailyplate.com/

Yup thanks
Well I set my activity level to sedentary potato cos I only do a little a day which includes skipping and sit ups. So will I still lose weight? I'm only asking cos I'm not too sure if your body just burns calories on it's own??

your body will burn a lot of calories on it's own, all the digestive respiratory stuff uses a lot of calories. i think that is what your basic metabolic rate is, the amount of calories your body will burn off without exercise. Does anyone else know if that's right? xx

Yeah that's right, there's a calculator on the internet (not sure of the exact site cuz I googled it along with hundreds of others soz) that works out how many calories you burn doing nothing. x
You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be.
