Unhappy [Chew] Weight Maintaining - Going Steady?

For a few reasons I need to keep my weight at 133 pounds / 9.5 stone / 18.5 BMI for a while, I do not want to go down and defiantly not up, but for the while keeping my weight at a stand still, how much do I eat, I am male 5,11, slim build, I cannot loose anymore weight for a while because people are noticing so I must keep a steady weight .

Ideas to keep a Steady weight?

(PS: I bet it includes me eating more than 100 - 800 calories doesn't it, oh the horror, if it shan't know what it will do, how much more calories??)

i think males need about 2000 cals a day to maintain their weight, if you exercise you can get away with eating less. there are websites that work out you basic metabolic rate and will tell you how many cals you need, not sure which is best as i just googled randomly!

use www.caloriesperhour.com, it gives you all the numbers youl need, it even gives adjusted numbers for the amount of exercise you do.
i love this website i use it all the time.

i just enetered your details and it said

The results of your calculations are: BMR 1,628 RMR 1,610 (calories)
For an explanation of BMR and RMR and important notes on the accuracy of these calculations, see Calculating BMR and RMR. We also explain why RMR is likely to be more appropriate for your needs.
As BMR and RMR only represent resting energy expenditure or calories burned during a day of rest, an adjustment must be made to reflect activity level. This can be done by multiplying by an activity factor:
    Factor Category Definition BMR RMR
1.2 Sedentary Little or no exercise and desk 1,954 1,932
    job

try to eat when you're physically hungry. Don't worry if you eat a bit too much one day, you can eat a bit less if you notice your weight go up.

I assume this is how 'normal' people monitor their weight?

annabella - don't you mean if you exercise you can get away with eating more?
