Hi Rachel, welcome to the forum!
I am no expert but I find that drinking cups of tea fills me up and stops me eating instead. Having said that I dont really count calories that strictly so may not be the best person to advise you.
3lbs a week I would say is good progress, if it slowed down then maybe look at changing the diet slightly, like I said im no expert but that seems to work for me.

i get quite worried when i see some of you guys saying your on around 500 cals a day. i know its so much better than being sick, but you should be careful, look after yourself.
i cant say much i used to have around 900 a day when i first started losing weight and was sick everyday too not to mention going to the gym and yes i did lose weight but i was tired and run down and about 6 months later piled it all on again, two years later im a stone heavier! not good.. exercising again. but just be carefulxxxx
