Empty is pure, starving is the cure.
The stomach is a muscle, and like all muscles, it needs rest.

I forgot one thing about food. I have borderline anemia. My diet, even when eating normally, is pretty low in iron. I take a prescription iron pill (I'm on the last month of the 3 month cycle). I take a regular OTC iron, and I take a liquid iron supplement. Iron tastes nasty so it has sugar added***edit***

I may or may not be around Friday and Saturday. Those are my days off and I'd rather relax in front of the TV instead of sit in front of the computer because I already do that all week. Plus I have loads of housework stuff to do to keep me busy. Tomorrow I am planning on buying and cooking a bunch of chicken breast. I work Sunday-Thursday, 3-11 pm (swing shift). Sure beats the 11 pm-7 a.m. shift. I put my time in on that one!Last edited by Dark Side; 04-13-2012 at 01:48 PM.

I haven't lost anything in ages. A couple pounds up and down and up again and that's it - normal weight fluctuations.
The big race is coming in just 6 days. I "carb up" before the race with pizza and eat off plan after I finish the race, then go back to my normal diet. I do this every year when the race comes up and it usually works okay and gives me energy for the race.
