    Question What is "tea"?

Will someone from England explain what "having tea" means? Tea here is simply a drink and not a meal.
Empty is pure, starving is the cure.
The stomach is a muscle, and like all muscles, it needs rest.
You're not winning this battle tummy ha!

Here in England tea has like 2 meanings

Tea = A drink, as in like a cup of tea
Tea = Your third meal of the day, it is also known as dinner in some other countries though

Ah yes. We call it dinner here, though some areas of the U.S. eat it eariler in the evening and call it supper. In the U.S. tea has only one meaning, "a cup of tea," a drink.
