I have the same problem as you, but what really helps me is 1. this forum, whenever I'm hungry I read through some of these posts and it distracts me and helps me focus on my diet again 2. having a diet buddy - my friend and i hold eachother accountable everyday for each meal, having to tell her what i eat and how many calories each thing is helps me stay on track and also hearing what she ate also helps me focus, especially if she does better than me because then i feel guilty 3. drinking LOTS of water, tea, coffee and diet/zero cal soda. I will probably die of liver failure someday, but i drink at least 1 diet coke almost everyday and i also drink lots and lots of tea and coffee. I should drink more water, but somedays I have a hard time doing that, haha. Anyway, also drink a big glass of water before going to bed because that will fill your stomach and stop you from being as hungry at night and also the next morning.

Did you know: being cold also burns more calories? So when you drink water, drink it very cold or with lots of ice to cause yourself to be chilly, and even though it is uncomfortable, you will lose weight faster. Hope this helps!

I started the ABC diet last week too, you could try that if you get REALLY dedicated. Maybe double it on your first try? Its extremely hard to maintain.

aww thankyou so much for replying, ive only recently just started looking at this forum and it really makes me think twice on what i eat, but it reallly is out of control, i eat when im bored which annoys the hell out of me because i feel so guilty afterwards, like im feeling now.

I do drink alot of water and coffee, i dont drink fizzy drinks at all ( i hate them) the thing is, is that noone will go on a diet with me! or atleasst keep to one :-(
    Whats the ABC diet?

Basically, it is a 50 day very strict Ana (anorexic) diet that gives you a different number of calories to eat eachday which is supposed to boost your metabolism by tricking it since your body cant get used to a consistent number. Heres a copy:

Day 1: 500 calories (or less)
Day 2: 500 calories (or less)
    3: 300 calories
    4: 400 calories
    5: 100 calories
    6: 200 calories
    7: 300 calories
    8: 400 calories
    9: 500 calories
    10: Fast
    11: 150 calories
    12: 200 calories
    13: 400 calories
    14: 350 calories
    15: 250 calories
    16: 200 calories
    17: Fast
    18: 200 calories
    19: 100 calories
    20: Fast
    21: 300 calories
    22: 250 calories
    23: 200 calories
    24: 150 calories
    25: 100 calories
    26: 50 calories
    27: 100 calories
    28: 200 calories
    29: 200 calories
    30: 300 calories
    31: 800 calories
    32: Fast
    33: 250 calories
    34: 350 calories
    35: 450 calories
    36: Fast
    37: 500 calories
    38: 450 calories
    39: 400 calories
    40: 350 calories
    41: 300 calories
    42: 250 calories
    43: 200 calories
    44: 200 calories
    45: 250 calories
    46: 200 calories
    47: 300 calories
    48: 200 calories
    49: 150 calories
    50: Fast

If you cant find someone to diet with you, I'm always open to helping you when you need it Also, I find using a food and exercize tracking website helps me tremendously. I use mypyramidtracker.gov you just enter all of the food you've eaten and select the portion size you ate of each and it tells you how many calories you have eaten all together, and the same thing with the exercize, it tells you how many calories you have burned off. Plus, you can see your intake compared to your needed intake eachday (ie. if you ate 2 cups of fruit, but you need 3 a day) and also your grams of each nutrients you have compared to how much you should intake (ie. your fat intake was 10% of your calories, but it should be between 25%-35%) its a really great helper that gives you all the information you want to know, except i dont think it has a BMI calculator, thats the only downer

oh, i forgot to say that its also based on a 2000 calorie a day diet lol sorry.

and when you get bored and want to eat, get on here if you can or listen to music or maybe watch tv. I like to write as well and go out with my friends, anything you can do to get your mind off eating. If you plan your meals and set a certain amount of allowed food a day that will also help bored eating and overeating. Sometimes I have to just take a drive if I cant find something else to do to distract me.

    Red face

Hey hun Im on the ABC diet too right now. It works really well! The only problem I have is Im with my family on the weekends so i eat soo much more but it def works even with that. I play alot of sports though so I have found that doubling the diet helps alot. On the days that are like 400 I eat 800. However I never double anything that will put me over a thousand! Some tips for this diet are clean.... I clean constantly. Putting on music and cleaning helps keep my mind off of food and away from traveling to the kitchen. Also I end up dancing to the music and burn off cal. in the process lol. The biggest thing with the ABC diet is planning. Make sure you always have low cal and low fat foods like celery and grapes with you so if you get too hungry you don't ruin your goal. Make sure to spread out your calories as well. Don't eat all your calories at once. Spreading them out like a few grapes in the morning, a couple crackers at lunch, a piece of fruit before a practice or workout, and then a decent dinner (for us lol) will keep your metabolism up and your body a burning machine. Good Luck
