Hey there everyone - I've been ana for about 10 yrs - but recently gone through a period of 'recovery'. I had thought I might be able to stick at it but secretly knew I wouldn't as can't handle being this overweight (in my view, lol). Only feel comfortable/able to function/go out anywhere when I'm so-called 'underweight'. I'm aiming to drop 20-30lbs as quickly as possible. At the moment I can hardly leave the house because I hate having these extra pounds of fat on my body.
Lovely to meet you all! And great to find a forum that hasn't been shut down! I used to post sometimes at places like House of Thin and PAM and Fading Obsession but can't seem to get into those places anymore. I don't get why they've been shut down - it can be so lonely having ana and it's great to connect with people who understand. Looking forward to getting to know you all....
Big hugs - melting x

HI
It is nice being able to talk to others! It's not right that the other sites get shut down then it leaves us all feeling so alone!

Hey
Hey hun, welcome to the site, I know, alot of the sites I used to visit have been closed down. Trying to clamp down on Pro ana sites because of all the hype in the media of late.

It's so dumb that they close them down - it makes things worse. AND it's our choice. It's not illegal to watch what you eat. Anyway, thank goodness for this place.... x
