    Question ...

hey i have anorexia and, as many people find it difficult to understand how awful i feel after having eaten, i would like to know if there are any products, such as jewellery, on the market which symbolises you have an eating disorder.
this ISN'T so i can advertise the fact that im proud of it or anything i would just like to be understood for a change.

    please reply

    thankyou x

The only thing I know of are bracelets in red are symbolic of being anorexic. Though it's not a widely known thing, so people won't know what it means unless you explain it to them...

The red bracelet is pretty universal for anorexics. When I need to find someone who is ana, usually someone picks up on that I'm wearing a red bracelet along with hints that I'm dropping, and sometimes the inquiry is a silent gesture. When someone points to a red bracelet they're wearing, they're asking you if you're ED-friendly.
