    Default eating vs. alcohol

    i was just wondering what you guys usually do when you go out drinking?
    i am currently restricting under 500 cals on weekdays and then only having a "normal" dinner with my family on saturdays and sundays. the only problem i have with this is the chance of binging when i've already had dinner on the weekends or even eaten anything at all on a weekday lol. alcohol calories don't really bother me TOO much.. but if i know i'm going to be drinking on a certain WEEKday (summer is here, don't judge HAHA) then i think i just won't eat on that day. ugh my poor stomach.. =/

    so again, what about you guys?

    yeah i heard its the best calorie wise but i always drink beer hahaha
    i swear we need to find some comfort in this run down place.

    haha, but yeah i might eat a granola bar right before but thats it. And weirdly enough i can get loadedddd like this and i still dont throw up or have bad hangovers also empty stomach + alcohol means less alcohol to get drunk which means fewer cals.. and we all love that.

    Shots of pure vodka few of thos at the start of the nyt keeps ya goin but beware they hit ya!
    Also id advise to keep away from beer y do u think they call it a beer gut? Just some advice

    I don't drink anymore because 1. the calories scare me and 2. when I drink, I eat and 3. hangovers also make me eat.

    I fast on the day and normally the day after because when I'm hungover I feel too sick to eat anyway and I drink vodka with diet coke or something equally as low calorie (and disgusting :/)
    I know it's bad for you not to eat before drinking, but it means I worry less about alcohol calories and I get drunk much faster, so there are less alcohol calories in all!

    i ignore alcohol calories, to be fair. well, no, not totally, buttt... in my head, they don't wholly count in the same way that the calories from... a burger, for instance, would.

    i like to stick to vodka and diet coke. sometimes i'll incorporate the alcohol calories into my overall total (like i did last night), but often it will end up, say... 1236 + alcohol (which could be god-only-knows how many calories, by this point). generally i find i'm not as hungry if i'm drinking... in some ways it can be used as a food substitute (though maybe not a truly successful one... ). dunno.

    Well, when i'm out for dinner I usually drink more and eat less, alcohol makes me not feeling hungry, i get drunk sooner and i don't mind too much about food. No problems when i'm with friends, but my boyfriend... mmm he knows everything about my food disorders, so he ends up sayin' "no food, no alcohol, or you're going sick", then i have a choice (and usually i eat a little more and drink).
    To avoid overeating i eat just veggies or some fruit at lunch so i can be free at dinnertime.

    When i'm not eating out my bf can't control me so i eat a little slice of toasted bread with somethin proteic so my stomach will stay flat (i've learned not caring about calories at that time cuz a salad or veggies would make my stomach awful -.-").

    Drinking makes me happy while doing it and the next morning cause with little liquids i usually enjoy the scale time *___*
