I'm going crazy lately, I don't know what it is. I saw a counsellor on Monday, because I didn't know where else to go. She just called my parents, told them I'm cutting, and it ended there, my parents haven't taken it any further. I think I might have symptoms for something...
- I cut
- Crazy moods that last anywhere from 2 minutes to a day (and I mean CRAZY good moods then moods where I want to die)
- I binge for no reason, then I don't eat at all
- Today I completely blacked out and tore up a shit load of paper and went nuts, ignored people while I did it
- I also got really violent at someone for no reason at all, which included my guitar...
- I'm usually pretty violent :/
- I get HUGE migraines
- I have to know exactly who is around me and where they are at all times
- I can't be around groups of people (ties in with above)
I don't know is this normal? There's some more stuff but I don't want a huge ass list...

I went through a period of time in which I would become violently angry. Not exactly physically violent, much angrier than was necessary.shor
I believe that I have Borderline Personality Disorder, which is often times characterized by short, but intense mood swings and a weakness to impulse. It seems like you're having an anxiety problem as well. If you go back to see the counselor, tell her that you believe that you may have Borderline and anxiety issues. Or tell your doctor. They'll be able to point you in the right direction.
Honestly, I've just dealt with it. There's not much you can really do except try different coping mechanisms with yourself and see what works for you. When I'm hella depressed, I usually just wait it out or try to get up and do something. When I get really angry, I try my hardest to control myself. I've even begun to watch for the signs of anger and started taking measures to avoid the situation before it happens. Good luck!

From your short description, it sounds like you could have a couple of comorbid disorders. I see signs of (maybe rapid-cycling)bipolar disorder as well as possibly antisocial personality disorder (which is in the same diagnosis cluster as borderline personality disorder). As I don't know much about you or your symptoms, and I'm not a psychologist, I can't really make other suggestions.
By any chance, have you been to a regular doctor and neurologist? I'd suggest a ct-scan to rule out any organic reasons for your behavior as well as for help with that migraine.

This may sound a bit out of left field, but have you ever been in a seriously traumatic situation? Some of your anger/violence sounds like what some people experience as a result of posttraumatic stress. About 20% of American women (don't know numbers for other countries) develop PTSD at some time in their lives, very often as the result of assault or rape. The fact that you blacked out a bit ago could be your reaction to some sort of flashback of some sort? Also issues with being around people/knowing where everyone is and what they're doing can be a reaction to being unable to control a tough situation with an unexpected aggressor.
Again, this could only possibly be the case if you've undergone some sort of trauma, and I am not at all trying to imply that any such thing has happened to you. Just a thought.
