    Default ?

I've never been on this site before, but I think I may need to talk with someone, maybe get some input. I dont know if I have an eating disorder or what is wrong with me, but I have always been physically active and I never had a problem with food, until recently. I feel like all I want to do is eat, I can eat so much food in one sitting and then feel so sick to my stomach (but I dont purge) I just let it digest and then eat some more. The thing is I hide food, my finacee thinks I eat soo good, because when hes around all I do is eat healthy, but then if he goes to take a shower or is working I eat a ton. I really want to stop doing this but for some reason everytime I try I do good for a few days and then binge again. I want to lose weight...I need to lose weight, Im not comfortable wtih the way I look, I need help as to why I do this and how to stop...anyone want to help?

Hi, I think you may be depressed. That you may be comfort eating, my son has emotional problems and gets bullied at school all he seems to do is eat lately. Please talk to your partner about how you feel and get help. Love yourself and your body. :-)

obviously you need to find a way to stop the overeating, but please, please dont start purging. it wont make it easier, itll just make it that much harder to stop.

you could try substituting a different addiction, maybe thats not healthy but its a start - gum, diet soda, coffee etc....

u should get professional help before your behaviour escalates into a full blown eating disorder. If the behaviour has only started recently then it may be a recent change in your life that is affecting you adversely. Try and think about new things that have occured in your life recently or old issues that have resurfaced.
