Question Allergy Medicine can kill you?

I've been popping pills for a couple of years now and recently started abusing this prescription allergy medicine of mine. I get this ridiculous high and feel completely calm and happy whenever I take it. I asked my mom if it was possible for someone to overdose on allergy medicine and she said that it is. I don't believe her since I've never ODed, but is it possible?

I would imagine you probably could... You can overdose on Tylenol and cough medicine, so I can't see why allergy medicine would be any different.

It's possible to overdose on anything, and medications are especially easy to overdose on. Most OTC meds, like benadryl, will kill you if you take too much. You can even overdose on water. It's called water intoxification and causes your kidneys to shut down. I know an instance where a woman lost her life trying to win a water drinking game on a live radio show. It was very tragic.

And I nearly overdosed on donuts once. Anything can kill you when used in excess.
