    Lightbulb Hi, I'm new...

Weird to be here. I'm very active on Lyme disease forums and other forums for the chronically ill. Because of being on disability for almost five years, I've changed my diet significantly and from what I've read on here, I would definitely say I have orthorexia; except when I get really depressed and binge on pizza and a lot of cheese/bread products. But recently, probably due to a change in meds, I've stopped being hungry. Almost completely. Yesterday I ate a carrot. And was okay. I'm dizzy with my conditions anyway, so I don't notice a big difference. Maybe I'm sleeping a little more, it's hard to tell. I'm not sleeping well at night. I can't remember when one thing started versus the other (that's part of the Lyme). Some of the started after my spinal tap three weeks to a month back. So I've got the anorexia part, without the being underweight. I've lost maybe 15+ pounds. But I was 30-35 pounds over my "ideal" weight to begin with. I had some nuts earlier today and they made me really nauseous. I'm thinking about taking an anti-nausea pill, but if I take too much Rx I sometimes have a bad reaction. Thanks for listening. I'll probably be back.

Welcome to WE. If you're not sure you have an ED, it's definitely worth discussing this medication with your doctors all the same - if you have a chronic disease, the last thing you need is a medication that means that you won't be adequately nourishing your body when it needs nourishment the most, and/or potentially adding the physical and psychological stress of an eating disorder to an already damaged system. Take care.
