Default i cannot deal with the shame...

I just can't...the amount of money on my stupid addiction and the risk of losing my job. how do I look on the bright side? how do I reconcile with myself so I can move forward? how can I forgive myself?

Because NOT doing those things gives the addiction power. It is like the reality that you can't dig yourself out of a hole; you have to climb. You can't hate yourself better...only compassion can do that.

As cliche as it sounds, nobody is perfect. we all have our little stories and lives, and there is not one of us who hasn't fucked up monumentally. we are learning & growing, and one cannot do that unless they make these mistakes. the eating disorder has drained you of your cash, and has messed up your life. you didn't know that would happen: you didn't know you'd get this addiction.

the only thing you can do is forgive yourself for the past and live, with clarity, in the present. it is a beautiful universe. take control and change what you don't like before your story is over.

true that. All kinds of people out there feel shame for different things. Congratulations, you aren't a sociopath (and I say that genuinely), it's something to acknowledge.
