Hi guys let me say this is my second post as I'm new to the forum. I'm not underweight but I'm not diagnosed with anorexia binge purge type. As it is my self assessment.I'm restricting 6 days a week at 300 calories and normal eating 1200 calories on the 7 day that's usually Sunday , I will not call it a binge because medically 1200 calories is not classified as a binge but a normal meal , but I also purge it by vomiting .i would like to know will it be classified as aneroia with bulimic tendencies but for bulimia diagnosis u have to purge 2 times a week but I purge only one time a week.this is classified as a typical cycle of restrict, normal eat or binge what ever u call it and purge. I will also appreciate if anyone have tried this type of protocol have either lost or gain significant amount of weight. Any one tried restrict, binge, purge cycle and lost weight. Or anything similar like me for how long and how much weight have u lost, I will appreciate for ur answers regards best.

Ay ay ay. You need a TW on this.
and as you're new, i'm going to say what the Mods are going to say: we don't give tips, so you won't get an answer.
For experince: classifications mean nothing - if you're heavily restricting, which you are, and purging, which you are, then something is up wrong there. This whole 'for a bulimia diagnosis you have to purge twice a week' does not mean purging once a week is ok - you're kidding yourself if you think that.
I may/may not (idk even know anymore) be on this cycle and it's horrible. Don't do this to yourself.I'm the only friend you need right? — Yuno Gasai

if you continue the cycle you will die, slowly, your body suffers in the process. 1200 is the absolute limit of restriction for people, most of the time it's not enough... 1200 calories is considered "safe" for short women, like 5'2 and below, and even then that's if you just sit on the couch all day every day.
we can't give tips, we aren't going to encourage disordered behavior.

1200 is verging on a starvation diet for adults who live a normal, not-too-much exercise life.
Restricting leads to binging, binging leads to restriction. No weight gets lost, you just lose your hair, your friends, your family will cry, no more leaving the house, no more happiness, lots of tears.

"If I have any taste, it s for hardly anything
but earth and stones.
Let us eat air, rock, coal, iron.
Turn, my hungers.
Feed, hungers, in the meadow of sounds!
Suck the gaudy poison of the convolvuli;
Eat, the stones a poor man breaks,
the old masonry of churches, boulders,
children of floods, loaves lying in the grey valleys! "

1200 is not a binge. It is way below normal... even in my sickest days, I ate more than that.
You can't go on like this, think about in 6 months time, or a year.. that amount of calories is a huge deficit. Please eat more, you won't get fat by eating 1200 or even 1300 daily.

I overheard some people talking about this "diet" in the shop this morning while I was buying sweetners (always buying them) and, frankly, was shocked as fuck about how they were singing it's praises. That shit is goni make people end up ill, and we all know what a headfuck that is. /disapprove!
