I guess I have been having some random intense, but short lived moments of shortness of breath- mostly while stretching or sitting up straight. I am also having this intense discomfort/tingling in my back. (It goes away when I lie down, but is so intense when sitting or standing) Has anyone ever had this feeling before? Or am I the only one?
The only change in my eating habits that I can think of is that I have been eating much less than usual and purging the same amount as usual. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Is it like a "my organs are being stretched" pain in your lower back? I get it all the time but haven't got a clue what it is

tingling does not sound good! If you've been eating less than usual try posting this on the ana board, someone there might be more familiar with it.
Breathlessness is to be expected though I suppose. The less food the less the energy.

The tingling in my back just seems to come and go as it pleases. The shortness of breathe, thank God has subsided. Thanks for your responses!

lax
I experience the same feeling after I use a lot of laxatives. Like I could sit down after taking 4 of them in one sitting, and I will try to get up and a feel a shortness in breath as well as a fainting feeling. I've been concerned about it for awhile but I was always afraid to tell.
